Dr Oz Orgasm Diet Foods That Make You Frisky; 3 women learn what foods can lead to stronger orgasms.
The Orgasmic Diet Action Plan; Fuel your sex drive with the right foods. Learn what to eat and when. The results could change your life. The Dr Oz Orgasmic Diet, is an easy-to-follow diet and exercise plan.

Author Marrena Lindberg has created a 3-step plan to help women boost their libido and achieve orgasm. Jessica, Jenny and Niccki joined Marrena Lidberg on stage with Dr Oz to Know Marrena’s diet plan to boost the libido. The Orgasmic Diet: A Revolutionary Plan to Lift Your Libido.

Dr Oz Orgasmic Diet

Dr Oz says the path to greater sexual satisfaction could begin with what you eat. Marrena Lindberg, author of The Orgasmic Diet, claims that women who strictly follow the full regimen of daily supplements and dietary changes will see improved libido in 2-4 weeks.

The Orgasmic Diet includes four simple parts:

• A diet low in carbohydrates that avoids “orgasm killers” like refined sugar and caffeine
• High doses of fish oil, which has numerous health benefits
• Internal exercises that go far beyond Kegels
• Maintenance of serotonin and dopamine levels for healthy brain function

Unlike other female sexual dysfunction books out there, which focus on psychological issues or new positions to try, The Orgasmic Diet is the first-ever scientifically supported nutritional and exercise method to improve female libido and orgasmic ability. It will change your sex life forever.

Here is the Dr Oz Marrena Lindberg 3-step plan, you will find sample menus and daily to-do lists that will help you keep track of your supplement intake. If followed correctly, Lindberg claims that women can achieve orgasm in 10 seconds, women can each and every time.

Orgasmic Diet Supplements

You will have to take these supplements every day:

1. A good multivitamin in the morning
2. Fish oil, containing approximately 1700 mg EPA, 1300 DHA
3. The RDA of calcium/magnesium/zinc (1000/400/15mg); take these at different times of the day for maximum absorption
4. Extra vitamin C (a glass of orange juice a day is enough)

Every 2 or 3 days:
27 mg of iron

Step 1: Increase Your Testosterone

Studies show that women with a greater sex drive have higher levels of testosterone. To increase your testosterone, Lindberg suggests adding more protein to your diet, as well as zinc and magnesium. (Though the correlation between protein and testosterone seems to be inconclusive, there is proven science to support the zinc and magnesium recommendations.)

Protein: Get 30% of your calories from protein at every meal. Protein portions should be about the size of a deck of cards.

Zinc blocks the enzyme that converts testosterone to estrogen.
Magnesium: Lower your levels of sex binding-hormone globulin (SHBG), which supresses “free testosterone.” Magnesium blocks SHBG.

Step 2: Increase Dopamine
Dopamine is the brain’s “pleasure chemical.” Increasing dopamine can boost female sexual pleasure.
Omega-3 fatty acids found in fish help to raise dopamine.
Fish oil supplements: Take a supplement containing approximately 1700 mg EPA and 1300 DHA daily. Consult your physician before starting this diet. The high dosage may interact with certain drugs, like blood thinners
Dark chocolate: Eat a small amount every day.

Step 3: Decrease Seratonin
Too much seratonin can impair your sex drive. One of the side effects of higher levels of seratonin is low libido. A moderate seratonin level is ideal.
Avoid caffeine, starch and sugars.
Starchy foods and sugar will make your seratonin levels spike.

Where Is The Triangle Of Death Dr Oz ?

The place on your body that’s teeming with bacteria and viruses, the Triangle of Death can cause illness and disease.

The Dr Oz Triangle Of Death extends from the corners of the mouth to the bridge of the nose. The blood vessels in the triangle drain to the back of the head where it meets up with the veins at the base of the brain. From there it is a quick shot to the cavernous sinus, which receives blood from this nearby web of veins. Infections here can cause vision loss, paralysis, headaches and sometimes death.

Dr. Oz says today he is going to take us into one of the most dangerous parts of our body. Dr Oz and Assistant Maria performed a little experiment, they both had this plastic triangle which Oz called the triangle of death. He asked maria where she thought the triangle of death was on her body, which is a very dangerous part of the body — a part of your body that is teeming with bacteria, virus’s and all kinds of nasty things. He went on to say that we don’t even realize how dangerous this area is.

Dr Oz Triangle Of Death

Apparently the triangle of death is your nose. They both held up the triangle in front of their face with the base on the top lip and the point fair square in the middle of your forehead, with the good ole nose right in the middle. He showed an artists image of what the skin surface looks like on the outside of nose, the little hairs and two different colours images of of two different bacteria that are there.

Next he showed a real image of the bacteria thats inside the nose, it was not pretty! there are little hairs(cilia) in there that we already know, and then there was white mucus, threaded through the hairs. Those little hairs milk the mucus back and forth, but there were also little yellow circles which is called Staphylococcus, that’s bacteria. Most of us have bacteria growing inside our nose, that cilia–those little hairs milk it and push it back and forth, that’s very important.

Dr. Oz showed us an animation of what happens when you play with triangle of death. The animation showed a women with a pair of tweezers. Now whether it is to pull a nose hair or pop a pimple. The animation showed once the hair was tweezed — the root section which leaves a little hole fills up with blood, the bacteria love to eat the blood, so bacteria begin to grow in there.

The bacteria grow and actually push that bacteria from that triangle of death from the top of your lips up to the top of your nose, into the veins that go deeply into your brain, then we have infection spreading, it swells and pushes on the nerves, and finally as the infection spreads, it will actually squeeze the optic nerve, the one that goes to your eye. When that happens, infections here can cause vision loss, paralysis, headaches, and sometimes even kill you! That is why Dr. Oz calls it the triangle of death.

Dr. Oz says when you pick your nose you are playing in the triangle of death. When you pick your nose your finger nail does the same thing to the lining, when you cause a crack in the skin on those little hairs. Dr. Oz presented us with some solutions. The best solution he said that when we get a little break in the skin in the nose area and between your eye brows it’s worth it to put a little antibiotic ointment on it, just to prevent an infection from going any deeper.

Dr Oz Picking Your Nose

The second thing Oz said he loved talking about was how do you actually clean your nose if your not allowed to pick it, and your not allowed to cut the hairs, or pluck them. He joked with his assistant to use scissors with rounded edges to cut his nose hairs which she was willing to do, but instead he picked up a little device with a rotary blade, and as it spins it protects from cutting you with an outer sheath. Use rotary nose-hair trimmers that gently cut the hairs rather than pulling them out at the root. So Maria was up Dr. Oz’s nose with a nose hair trimmer, and everyone had their laugh for the day.

Any time you pick your nose, tweeze out a nose or lip hair, pierce the face, or pop a pimple, bacteria collects in the wound and can invade the triangle of death’s blood supply. Similarly, facial wounds, surgical incisions and gums can become an avenue of infection. The best mode of prevention is to be a non-picker.

Clear nasal passages with a nasal rinse and a neti pot as part of your daily morning hygiene routine

Gently clear crust from the nose carefully using a clean tissue and not your nail or other device

Avoid popping or picking at facial pimples, blackheads, cuts and scabs

Treat any facial infection, sore or cut immediately

Line your nose with a emollient jelly to make it less crusty

Use rotary nose-hair trimmers that gently cut the hairs rather than pulling them out at the root

Rethink the facial piercing

Oz helps you identify and manage the 3 most common chronic pains, and reveals the truth behind the 3 biggest pains that millions suffer from. Understanding Chronic Pain, Dr Oz says the key to treating pain is finding its cause. Learn how to pinpoint what to do when the pain doesn’t go away. Dr Oz 3 Biggest Pains Chronic Pain And How To Manage It.

Dr Oz says pain is the #1 reason patients go to the doctor. While we’ve all experienced some form of physical pain in our lives, our injuries are usually short-lived. For about 35% of Americans, however, pain escalates into a chronic problem lasting 3 to 6 months, or even longer. Approximately 50 million Americans are disabled because of chronic pain.

Plus today it’s the Dr. Oz Healthy Housewives from Detroit – 100 days to get Beach Body Ready.

Dr. Larry Newman and Dr. Vonda Wright joins Dr. Oz today on the subject of “Chronic Pain”.

Dr. Oz talks about the 3 biggest pains that strike us, how you can fight it and win. Today we learn everything we need to know to rescue our body from our biggest pains. When pain becomes chronic – where pain signals keep firing for weeks, months, even years it can totally devastate the quality of life. Chronic pain interferes with our moods, sleep and our work, and the problem grows worse as we grow older…Manage And Control Pain!

Dr Oz 3 Most Chronic Pains

1. Headaches Pain
2. Back pain
3. Joint Pain

Migraine Headaches – The most common headache is a tension headache is described as a band around your head. A Migraine headache is the most common to bring someone to a doctor. It’s a pain usually on one side of the head, and you are sensitive to light and sometimes noise.

Larry Newman & Dr Oz Migraine Checklist

The checklist for a migraine headache to be diagnosed as having them are;

Migraine symptoms: A patient needs to have 5 prior episodes previous to going to the doctor. You need at least 2 of these symptoms in this category.

A migraine lasts usually 4 hours up to 72 hours

You need pain on one side of the head, pain that is throbbing or pounding, that is moderate to severe, pain that interferes with routine activity. Plus one of these associated with it.

Nausea and/or vomiting – sensitivity to light and sound

The classic trigger items for Migraine headaches are;

Stress

Changes in the weather

Menstrual cycle

Changes in hormone levels

The classic foods that can trigger a migraine are chocolate, aged cheese, hot dogs, or nitrate containing foods, and alcoholic beverages such as red wine.

Dr. Newman said to try and identify these triggers and avoid these foods. The non medical therapies are – Green tea for migraines, Butterbur, B vitamins and CoQ10. On a previous show Dr Oz recommended Feverfew Extract as a natural remedy for Migraines. Feverfew inhibits chemicals that give rise to migraines, and help alleviate the pain. Add a few drops in juice and it should do the trick.

Dr Oz Back Pain – Dr Vonda Wright suggested this exercise for back pain – Wall squats – partner squats for core posture. Just put your back against the wall and squat at about 60 degrees, and this will strengthen your legs, your core and rear ends all at the same time. Do this from 30 seconds up to two minutes several times a day.
Dr Oz Joint Pain – Arthritis pain is aching pain, pain you get after along walk, or pain after you are dancing. It is the pain that can be hurtful at rest, and some people wake up at night with so much aching they can’t sleep. If your pain is in the front of your hips, and it feels like grinding it may be Arthritis. Pain on the sides of the hips it is usually due to Iliotibial band syndrome (ITB band Syndrome).

Dr Wright Foam Rolling

Dr. Wright says we can strengthen our cores and our rear ends, Bobbie demonstrated the exercise of Foam Rolling for us. Dr Wright says this is a miracle tool that is like deep tissue massage. What you do is you lay on the hip that hurts, and you roll this roll back and forth, and you are actually stretching the IT ban, and it’s a deep tissue massage you give yourself, and you do this everyday.
Dr Oz Molly Ringwald

Author of “Getting The Pretty Back” Molly Ringwald asks Dr Oz for healthy snacks for her family. Her husband is Greek and he is always telling her The Mediterranean diet is the healthiest diet and Molly wanted to know if that was true. She asked Dr Oz if he could recommend Greek staples that you should be eating everyday.

Dr Oz’s Answer For Molly On The Mediterranean Diet – Her husband is absolutely correct says Dr Oz, The Mediterranean Diet has been shown to be the number one tool that reduces death in the world. Dr Oz said The Mediterranean Diet has a hugh impact to eat that kind of a diet.

The Mediterranean Diet puts it emphasis on Olive Oil as the primary source of fat as apposed to saturated fats that you get in meats, The diet also has lots of nuts, these also lower the LDL types of cholesterols. Dr Oz said he had a double surprise for her, he had a basket shipped to her with olive oil. Dr Oz told Molly olive oil is very useful for the hair, and is also very useful for the skin. He told her to use olive oil as a skin emollient and on her nails

The ’80s teen idol is now a mother of 3 and looking for ways to keep her family healthy. Molly Ringwald asks Dr. Oz to explain the health – and beauty – benefits of the Mediterranean diet.

Dr Oz Carol Burnett

Legendary comedian and actress Carol Burnett knows a thing or two about aging gracefully. Here, she defers to Dr. Oz for an expert take on getting the most out of one’s years. She asks: What are some exercises to keep the mind and memory sharp? Learn more.

Carol Burnett just wrote a book called “Our Best This Time Together Laughter And Refection”. Carol had a medical question for Dr Oz, she said she read years ago that doing crossword puzzles keeps your mind and your memory sharp, so she has been doing that for years and it seems to be working. She asked Dr Oz if he had any other suggestions for exercises to keep your mind and memory sharp.

Dr Oz’s Answer For Carol Burnett: He had Valerie harper and Michael play ping pong onstage as an example. Dr Oz says a study has shown that crossword puzzles actually help if you do them 4 times a week. You can lower Dementia by 47%, also by playing musical instruments and dancing. Playing pingpong promotes the growth og neurons, lowers the risk of closing of the blood supply to the key parts of the brain.

Dr Oz Michael Emerson

Michael Emerson asked Dr Oz if it was true to use a raw steak for a black, and of course the answer is untrue, it only offers relief because it is big and cold. Dr Oz says use an ice pack every twenty minutes for a black eye, and or tea bags that have been heated then cooled. He also went on to talk about chinese remedy for people who bruise easily which is to eat alfalfa sprouts and leafy greens.

Dr Oz Valerie Harper

Valerie Harper(Rhoda from the Mary Tyler Moore Show) had knee surgery and never did the physical therapy required after surgery because she was too busy working on a new show. Dr Oz got out the purple gloves and explained how the knee works with Valerie, plus showed her how to do the exercises for the knee which consisted of lunges with a small weight in each hand.

Dr Oz Salmon Sandwich

Dr Oz and Valerie Harper whipped up a salmon sandwich today which consisted of;

1 can salmon
4 oz greek yogurt
Edamame
Onions
1/2 to 1 tsp Turmeric
He looked like he had about 1/4 cup of mashed Edamame in the bowl and about 1 tablespoon of diced on onion. Dr Oz says this sandwich is full of omega 3′s and don’t forget use whole grain bread.

Dr Oz Keith Colburn & Phil Harris

Keith asked Dr Oz what are the early warning signs of a stoke. Dr Oz said stress, smoking and heavy alcohol consumption are culprits.

Dr Oz Duff Goldman

Duff and his Charm City Cakes staff star in the Food Network series, Ace of Cakes. Duff asked Dr Oz what to do in the case of of a food allergy Attack, Dr Oz told him call 911, get the Epipen and inject immediately into the muscle. Don’t offer someone a drink a water because they could choke to death.

Dr Oz Bill and Giuliana Rancic

Bill and Giuliana are trying to have a baby and asked Dr Oz if cell phones can effect sperm count and fertility. Cell phone radiation does not effect women’s ovaries, but can affect men’s testicles because they hang from the body. Studies have shown an 87% reduction in sperm activity, so Oz says Men don’t carry your cell phone on your waist.

Daphne Oz’s Dorm Room Diet Plan The Freshman 15

Dr. Oz’s daughter – and author of The Dorm Room Diet – Daphne literally wrote the book on the subject: warding off the Freshman 15. Her healthy eating tips and tricks are nutrition-savvy, and the perfect pointers for anyone trying to ward off weight gain.

Daphne Oz spoke about growing up in a family with both Grandfathers were heart surgeons, her father Dr Oz is a heart surgeon, her mom Lisa Oz is a practicing Vegetarian, and also author of US: Transforming Ourselves and the Relationships that Matter Most. Daphne said she has grown up with plenty of knowledge on how to be healthy.

Daphne grew up very over weight as a kid, at 16 she was 5’8″ and weighed 175 pounds. When she looked in the mirror she says she didn’t see a feminine pretty girl, all she saw was her weight.

When Daphne first got accepted into college she thought this is the beginning of my adult life, so in her freshman year she took control of her weight. She said she was afraid to gain the Freshman 15, you get to college and exist on pizza and beer you have no parents there to tell you to put the spoon down.

Developing the Dorm Room Diet was a total experiment says Daphne, and she used herself as the guinea pig. This was going to be a system that would really work and it would have to be easy. The biggest thing you can do is learning to prepackage snacks(Dr Oz says this all the time). Daphne would have snacks all done up in little bags consisting of fruits and vegetables and found that made all the difference.

Daphne realized she needed to write a book for college students and make sure it was in the voice of a college student, making sure her generation took charge of itself. She went to say that the beauty of this lifestyle is that it works even you left school and works for people outside of school.

Daphne Oz says you don’t have to fail with your health, you can make sure you keep healthy!

As you will see in the video Daphne Oz and Daddy Dr Oz play a game called is it worth it with mother and daughter Patty and Nicole. Patty is concerned about her daughter going of to college and she could develop bad habits. Patty is very excited about her daughter going of to college but also very concerned with her new schedule, living on campus, she’s not going to have the time to eat properly, and could gain the freshman 15.

The game is a bout foods Daphne would approve of to avoid you gaining weight, especially the freshman 15. Dr Oz said this is not just for college students it is for everyone. Which foods are bad or good for you when having to make a choice.

Dr Oz and his daughter Daphne Oz played a game today called “Is It Worth It”

Small bowl of potato chips
Large Sherbet Orange Drink

Pick the potato chips – When looking at the potato chips it doesn’t seem like the healthy choice, but juice drinks and juice drink bars add a lot of ice cream and sugary syrups which equals a lot of calories. Daphne said not to be fooled by it saying there is fruit on the label that it’s healthy. Dr Oz went to say that high fruitouse corn syrup which is found will put on the the extra pounds, the freshman 15.

Which Should You Eat!

A Piece Of BirthdayCake
Chocolate Chip Cookie

Pick the cake – Daphne and Dr Oz explains why you should pick the piece of cake. Although the cookie is small and you assume it is the better choice and the cake would have way more calories, Daphne says what your looking for is an emotional experience. You want to be able to celebrate with friends and family if your going to eat something less than healthy for you. Have the cake and don’t go for the box of cookies at night when your by yourself, maybe coming home from a party.

Dr Oz Tip: When at a party be the last one served, because by the time everyone else is going for left overs you not finished yours.

Which Should You Eat!
Tortilla Wrap
Whole Grain Bread

The tortilla wrap are full of condensed carbohydrates and twice as many calories as a slice of whole grain bread. You can find all you need in Daphne Oz’s The Dorm Room Diet: The 10-Step Program for Creating a Healthy Lifestyle Plan That Really Works

Dorm Room Diet Reviews

From Publishers Weekly:

Daughter of bestselling cardiologist Mehmet Oz (You: The Owner’s Manual), the young Oz struggled with weight as a teen. Now a Princeton sophomore, she offers a range of advice for college girls hoping to sidestep the “Freshman 15.” Those late-night study binges, tailgating and sports events, parties, TV watching and heavy talks can lead even clever Ivy Leaguers down the road to weight gain.

No doubt inspired by her dad (who penned the introduction), Oz offers an eight-step program that advocates sensible, healthful eating, exercise and vitamin use. While warning against the pitfalls of high-calorie foods like alcohol, full-fat cheese and simple carbs, she okays coffee in moderation, bread dipped in olive oil, and chocolate. Balance is crucial, Oz notes, pointing out that one night of partying won’t spoil everything if it’s followed by healthy eating the next day. Punctuating her text with practical tips (stock up on wholesome snacks such as almonds and veggies before snuggling in for a study marathon, the author addresses her female peers in a breezy, conversational style. This is a great book to pack between the extra-long twin sheets and study lamp. (Sept.)

From School Library Journal:

Adult/High School—Written in a style similar to Steven Covey’s “Highly Effective Teens” books (S & S) and passing along wisdom the author learned from her father, Mehemet Oz, author of You: The Owner’s Manual (HarperCollins, 2005), this title is part dietary adviser, part survival guide for the first year of college. Specifically addressing girls, it is filled with quotes from young women, giving tips for staying healthy.

Topics include eating habits for all-nighters and illustrated exercises to be done in the dorm room. While the dietary advice is general in nature, Oz chronicles her own struggles with weight and is encouraging to readers trying to maintain healthy lifestyles. Checklists, self-reflection questions, and boxed tips are interspersed throughout. The tone is upbeat and positive. Teenage girls will enjoy the anecdotes and learn a lot about staying healthy along the way.—Brigeen Radoicich, Fresno County Office of Education, CA

Limit your intake of red meat to just once a week.

vitamin C in mangoes can help prevent periodontal disease. Did you know that one mango can give you 96% of your daily vitamin C needs.

Dr Oz Supplements to Fight Aging

Day 2 of Dr Oz 7 Day Anti Aging Checklist – Monday Start The Vitamins – Dr Oz says getting the right supplements is very important. Split your supplement intake into two doses, once in the morning and once at night; this will aid your body in getting the maximum absorption. These 4 supplements are proven anti-agers:

Vitamin D3, dosage: 1000 IU
Vitamin D3 turns on the gene that helps you get rid of abnormal DNA – and can help prevent heart disease and cancer. Vitamin D also helps to boost immune function and lower inflammation. For more information on why Vitamin D is one of Dr. Oz’s top supplements to take, click here.

Calcium, dosage: 600 mg
Calcium is intrinsic to bone strength for everyone, but this nutrient is especially important for women and the prevention of osteoporosis. Vitamin D promotes the absorption of calcium, thus also playing a major role in bone health.

Magnesium, dosage: 200 mg
Stress is the top ager of the body; magnesium is an anti-stress mineral that helps regulate cortisol (a stress hormone) levels. Magnesium is also known to lower blood pressure.

Multivitamins
In an ideal world, everyone would be able to fulfill their nutritional needs by eating natural foods. Unfortunately, thanks to busy schedules and the overwhelming availability of processed foods, this isn’t the case. That’s where multivitamins come into play. Take a multivitamin everyday to help meet your daily nutritional needs. Take half in the morning and half at night.

Day 3 of Dr Oz 7 Day Anti Aging Checklist – Tuesday: Bust Stress

Dr Oz says Tuesday is the most stressful day of the week because most of the work is still ahead of you. His alternative treatment such as the ancient Chinese acupressure massage technique called the “gushing spring.” and he said you can do it anywhere and no one would even notice.

How To Do Gushing Spring Massage

Take your shoes off. Take the heel of one foot and press it against the sole of the other foot. Rub the heel into the sole. This motion generates heat at a pressure point responsible for energy and vitality. Repeat with the other foot and there you go.

Day 4 of Dr Oz 7 Day Anti Aging Checklist – Wednesday: Stop Sitting

Dr oz said that every 2 hours of sitting increases the risk of Type 2 diabetes by 7% and heart disease by 25%.

Work the core: Every time you get up from your chair, don’t use you hands for support. Propel yourself upward with your legs and abdominals. Squat - at work or in your living room. Slowly lower yourself into your seat, be it your office chair or couch. Hover just above the seat and, with your legs, push back up. Repeat and feel the burn.

Day 5 of Dr Oz 7 Day Anti Aging Checklist – Thursday: Longevity Cocktail
Try something new and rethink your meals. Dr. Oz’s Anti Aging Cocktail is chockfull of essential nutrients: healthy Omega-3 fats, protein, calcium, magnesium, selenium, potassium, fiber and disease-fighting antioxidants. The blueberries give it a nice purple color – which kids will love any day of the week. Start blending. This is the exact recipe Dr Oz calls The Magical Breakfast Blaster, today he just gave it another name.

Day 6 of Dr Oz 7 Day Anti Aging Checklist – Friday: Contact 3 Friends

Email or call 3 friends on Friday this can reduce the negative effects of stress, and friends are the best mental medicine.

Day 7 of Dr Oz 7 Day Anti Aging Checklist – Saturday Have Sex! Get More Sleep

A Queens University study found that men who had sex 3 times a week reduce their risk of having a heart attack by half. Dr Oz says the goal here is to engage in two intimate encounters a week. Safe, monogamous sex helps to reduce pain and stress, and improves immunity. Sex is a natural way to feel healthier – and burn off some calories, but that all depends on how long you go at states Dr Oz.

Dr Oz’s Anti Aging Secret Get More Sleep And Use A Buckwheat Pillow

Saturday, Step 2: Get More Sleep –

This goal is the most important anti-aging secret. The benefits of a good night’s rest can not be understated. People who sleep less than 6 hours a night have an increased risk of heart attack and stroke. Sleeping for as little as 6 hours can also make you crave more sugar.

The key point is to get closer to the ideal amount of sleep: 7.5 to 8 hours a night. It’s important to sleep this much, because it’s the end of the sleep cycle that certain regenerative hormones are released; this phase is crucial to brain function.

Dr Oz used mannequin’s today to show the two cancers most commonly found in both men and women and the two cancers that are most deadly in each. The two most common cancers in women are breast cancer and lung cancer. The two most found cancers in men are Prostate Cancer and Lung Cancer. The most deadly cancer is Lung Cancer in both men and women. Most people die from lung cancers more than any other cancer they can die from.

What’s The Best Way To Find Breast Cancer Early?

Lyndie had the first question who was diagnosed with breast cancer and there was no family history of it, and wanted to know how to detect breast cancer early. Marisa Weiss, M.D. says the 3 most powerful tools to find breast cancer early are; Do A Self Breast Exam, a doctors examination, and digital mammography. After a breast self exam, talk with your doctor and tell him something’s not right, and tell him how you feel, work with your doctor and get it checked out.

Dr Oz Is Beast Cancer Hereditary?

Gigi who was diagnosed with breast cancer 7 years is worried about her daughter getting breast cancer and asked the question Is cancer hereditary? Dr. Poynor says about 10% of Ovarian Cancers are actually hereditary. About 10% of the time with Ovarian Cancer individuals will come from families where you will see either Breast Cancer or Ovarian Cancer in each generation. So it is really important for a woman to understand her family history, and bring that family history to her physician, and to actually have 3 generations of her families history

Dr Oz What Causes Lung Cancer Other Than Smoking?

Donna had the next question, it was concerning her boss who had died of lung cancer at age 63, She was a Nun(Sister Geraldine) who never smoked. What causes Lung Cancer other than smoking?

Dr. J. Leonard Lichtenfeld answered this question of how does one die from Lung Cancer who never smoked. Second Hand Smoke – Passive smoking caused from someone else can cause Lung Cancer in you. The other issue is Radon Gas, he went to say there are a lot of people who die of Lung Cancer who are non smokers and Dr’s never do understand exactly why.

Radon gas seems into the ground and then into our basements, Radon Gas is invisible, it’s silent, it’s toxic and it’s deadly, and causes about 21,000 deaths a year, Radon Kitscost about 10 bucks. Naomi joined Dr Oz to see what lung cancer looks like and what lung cancer does to the windpipe in the video on lung cancers.

Symptoms of Lung Cancer are a Persistent cough – a cough that doesn’t go away, or you cough up a lot more sputum, or you cough up blood, shortness of breath, and weight loss.

Dr Oz What Are Pre-Cancerous Colon Polyps? What Causes Them?

Sonya had the next question, she had 6 precancerous polyps removed during a colonoscopy. She wanted to know how did she get so many polyps, and did her diet have anything to do with it.

Dr Oz’s friend Dr. Jonathan LaPook a board-certified physician in internal medicine and gastroenterology for New York-Presbyterian Hospital,(Jonathan LaPook, M.D., is the medical correspondent for the CBS Evening News), answered this question for Dr Oz. In this segment you will see a benign polyp, that can be destined to become Colon Cancer. He says that genetics play a role in colon polyps and colon cancer, environment, a toxin, something were eating. Eat a high fiber diet, lots of fruits and vegetables. Dr. LaPook says there is no proof that eating a high fiber diet will prevent colon cancer or colon polyps but it’s great for your general health.

Dr LaPook says get some sort of screening test for you colon by the age of 50, which Dr Oz is having a colon screening test done as he is turning 50 this year.

Dr Oz Why Are Some Cancers Like Ovarian Cancer More Dangerous Than Others?

Gloria had the next question for Dr oz, and it was why are some cancers more dangerous than others like Ovarian Cancer.

Dr oz stated that Colon Cancer is curable, but Ovarian Cancer isn’t most times because Ovarian Cancer is known as the Cancer That Whispers, doesn’t show symptoms until it’s too late. Dr. Elizabeth Poynor says that women would report vague symptoms a year previous to being diagnosed with Ovarian cancer such as urinary frequency, abdominal bloating, bowels don’t like they used and extreme fatigue.

Dr Oz says the faster you recognize the symptoms of Ovarian Cancer the quicker the diagnosis, much better the chance of survival rate in your favour.

Can Extra Weight Increase Your Cancer Risks?
The last question came from Linda in Brooklyn – Is it true weight gain can increase my risk of cancer.

Dr Lichtenfeld’s answer; Overweight and obesity can increase the risk of death in cancer in men by 14%, and women by 20%. It clearly has an impact on different kinds of cancers, you need to Lose The Weight.

Dr. Elizabeth Poynor’s answer; For Gynecologic Cancers being obese or over weight have a significantly elevated risk for Endometrial Cancer, or cancer of the lining of the Uterus, or may have an elevated risk for Ovarian Cancer.

Dr. Marisa Weiss’s answer; Manage your weight – get to and stick to a Healthy Weight, it’s reduces your risk to breast cancer substantially.

Dr Oz explains how to tell what “is” that lump in your breast, is it cancer or something benign. Dr Oz asked the women in the studio audience who has done a beast self exam in the last 6 months, and the outcome was not good.
DR OZ WARNING SIGNS OF OSTEOPOROSIS

Dr. Oz talked about bone loss and Osteoporosis in this segment of the show. Bone loss begins in your twenties and progresses on throughout your life, and half the women by the age fifty already have some element of Osteoporosis.

Osteoporosis is more common in women than men. Eighty percent, or four out of five, of the 10 million Americans who have it are women. There are several reasons for this. Women have lighter, thinner bones to begin with. They also lose loose bone rapidly after menopause. In fact, a woman’s risk of osteoporosis is equal to her combined risk of breast, ovarian and uterine cancer.

Twenty percent, or two million people with osteoporosis, are men. A man older than 50 is more likely to break a bone due to osteoporosis than he is to get prostate cancer.

Dr Oz Risk Factors for Osteoporosis:

The mortality rate for a broken hip is 20 percent. Dr. Oz said that one in five people who suffer from a broken hip are not going to recover. Surgery can fix the hip, but not the bones. He went to talk about your height, weight, wrist size (our wrist is less than 6 inches, you could be at risk) as a cut of point for Osteoporosis. Smoking, alcohol – drinking in younger women, and depression.

If either of your parents had osteoporosis or a history of broken bones, you are more likely to get it too. Also, if one of your parents had a noticeable amount of height loss or a spine that curved forward, they may have had osteoporosis.

If you are a woman and go through menopause early, your risk of osteoporosis increases. The same is true if you have your ovaries removed. That’s because your ovaries produce most of your body’s estrogen.

List Of Signs And Symptoms For Osteoporosis

Early symptoms:

No early symptoms – in many cases there is no indication of gradually thinning bones

Joint aches

Muscle aches

Symptoms of bone weakness from advanced osteoporosis:

Thin bones

Brittle bones

Weak bones

Fractures

Fracturing easily

Backache

Loss of height

Spine deformation

Approximately 20% of those who experience a hip fracture will die in the year following the fracture.

One-third of hip-fracture patients are discharged to a nursing home within the year after fracture.

Only one-third of hip-fracture patients regain their pre-fracture level of function.
With the aging of America, the number of people with osteoporosis-related fractures will increase exponentially. The pain, suffering, and overall impact on health and economic costs will be enormous.

Dr. Oz insisted do not take calcium by itself, take Calcium With Vitamin D, and Vitamin K2. Vitamin K2 is the main vitamin that is responsible together with Vitamin D with building up bone strength and found in fermented foods and beverages called Kefir.

Kefir is a type of yogurt that has been fermented, this can not be found in supplements, it is only through food. You can make your own Kefir with a Kefir Culture Starter kit

Recognizing that bone health and osteoporosis can have a significant impact on the overall health and wellbeing of Americans, Congress commissioned Bone Health and Osteoporosis: A Report of the Surgeon General to cover a range of important issues related to improving bone health, including: challenges in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of osteoporosis and related bone diseases; the impact of these diseases on minority populations; promising prevention strategies; how to improve health provider education and promote public awareness; and ways to enhance access to key health services. The 2004 Surgeon General’s Report on Bone Health and Osteoporosis was prepared by some of the country’s top scientists, doctors, and public health experts.

The 2004 Surgeon General’s Report on Bone Health and Osteoporosis: What It Means to You is a booklet for consumers that explains the report and how individuals can take action to improve their bone health. Sections of this booklet include:
