Tracy Anderson’s Unsweetened Applesauce Recipe
1/2 cup blueberries
Steam apples. Remove skin and core. Blend apples in a food processor, add blueberries and cinnamon and purée lightly.
Tracy Anderson’s Sweet Potato Smoothie Recipe
1 sweet potato
1 cup raw milk
1 scoop vanilla protein powder
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp turmeric
Puncture holes in sweet potato and microwave 5 to 8 minutes until soft, rotating halfway through. Scoop out from skin and let cool. Blend with milk, protein powder, cinnamon and turmeric and enjoy.
Tracy Anderson’s Banana Mash Recipe
Makes 3 (8-oz) Servings
1 banana, sliced
1 cup unsweetened almond milk
1 tsp cinnamon
In a small saucepan, cook all ingredients over medium-low heat for 10 minutes, mash like potatoes. Serve warm.
Tracy Anderson’s Tomato Soup Recipe
1 (32-oz) can of low-sodium tomato juice
1 cup green beans (fresh or frozen)
1 cup corn
1 cup celery
1 cup carrots
2 garlic cloves
Combine ingredients and simmer over medium low heat for 20 minutes.
Tracy Anderson’s Chicken Salad Recipe
1 shredded boneless chicken breast
1/2 cup chopped cucumber
1/2 cup chopped tomato
1/2 cup chopped mango
1/2 cup chopped spinach
Splash rice wine vinegar
Toss all ingredients together and serve chilled.
Tracy Anderson’s Turkey Spinach Crumble Recipe
1 lb ground turkey (white meat)
1 cup spinach
5 basil leaves
4 cloves roasted garlic
1/2 yellow onion
1 tbsp coriander
Pinch of pepper
In food processor, pulse spinach, basil, garlic and onion until smooth. In large mixing bowl, mix the spinach/basil mixture with the turkey, coriander and pepper. Refrigerate for 6 hours. Spray non-stick skillet with cooking spray. Cook turkey mixture over medium heat, stirring continually to break down meat into small pieces until cooked.
Tracy Anderson’s Chocolate Pudding Recipe
Makes 2 (4-oz) Servings
1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
2 tbsp peeled and cooked chestnuts
1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
2 whole pitted dates (you may substitute prunes or blueberries)
2 tbsp unsweetened coconut flakes
1/2 cup water
Melt the chocolate chips slowly in a double boiler. Purée the rest of the ingredients. Add the melted chocolate and pulse until all the ingredients are combined. Add the water and check the consistency. It should be soupy – don’t worry, it’ll thicken as it cools.
