L-Tyrosine Supplements

Bryce Wylde’s High Tyrosine Sample Meal Recipes

Edamame Purée

2 (10-oz) bags of frozen shelled edamame
1 cup vegetable broth or water
1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
2 tsp ground cumin
1/2 tsp sea salt
1/2 tsp cayenne
Freshly ground pepper

Cook edamame in boiling water until soft, about 4 to 5 minutes.

Combine the remaining ingredients with the cooked edamame in a blender and process until smooth. Depending on your desired consistency you might want to add more or less of the broth or water.

Transfer purée to a sauce pan and heat through.

Pan Roasted Duck Breast

Oil for greasing the pan
2 duck-breast halves, skin removed
1 tsp cinnamon
Sea salt
Freshly ground pepper
Pinch of cayenne

Heat a medium-large non-stick pan (preferably a cast-iron skillet) on medium heat. Dry the duck breasts well with paper towels. Sprinkle with the salt, pepper and cayenne.

Cover the bottom of the pan with a thin layer of oil and carefully add the duck breasts to the pan. Cook undisturbed on medium heat for about 8 minutes, or longer if you prefer a more well-done breast.

Flip the breasts over and sprinkle the top with 1/2 teaspoon of the cinnamon and continue cooking, again undisturbed, for another 8 minutes.

Remove the duck to a serving plate, sprinkle the rest of the cinnamon on the just cooked side and let the duck rest for a good 5 minutes before slicing.

Wheat Germ Oatmeal

1 cup old fashioned rolled oats
1/4 teaspoon sea salt
1/4 cup wheat germ
Fresh berries for topping

Bring 2 cups of water and the salt to a boil. Stir in the oats and cook on medium-low heat for about 10 to 20 minutes, depending on desired consistency.

Stir in the wheat germ, cover the pot and let it stand for a few minutes before serving

Ricotta Cream

1 cup ricotta
1 tbsp honey
Juice and zest of 1/2 lemon

Mix all ingredients until well combined. Enjoy on toast or apple slices.

Mustard Green Salad

2 tbsp olive oil
3 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp honey
Pinch of salt
Freshly ground pepper
3 cups roughly chopped mustard greens
2 cups arugula
1/2 cup grated carrots
1 small cucumber sliced into rounds
1/2 cup thinly sliced radishes

To make the dressing, stir together the olive oil, lemon juice, honey, salt and pepper in a small bowl.

In a large bowl toss the greens, arugula, carrots, cucumbers and radishes with the dressing until well combined.
