Rachael Ray’s Summer Cocktail Recipe: Blackberry and Mint Cooler

List of ingredients and directions for Rachael Ray’s Recipe Blackberry and Mint Cooler:

Ingredients
2 fresh mint leaves
3 to 4 blackberries
1 tbsp agave syrup
1/2 lemon, juiced
2 oz gin

Directions
In a silver shaker, add mint leaves, toss in blueberries and remaining ingredients. Shake ingredients together, pour into glass and garnish with mint. Enjoy!

Rachael Ray’s Summer Cocktail: Fresh Tomato Margarita

List of ingredients and directions for Rachael Ray’s Tomato Margarita:

Ingredients
1 tomato, chopped
Handful of cilantro
1/2 lime, juiced
1 1/2 oz tequila
1 1/2 oz orange curacao
1 tsp agave syrup
Fresh basil to garnish

Directions
In a clear pint glass, tap the cilantro a few times with a muddler. Add the tomato and muddle well. (Muddling is better than blanding because it releases flavor without destroying the texture.)

Add the remaining ingredients into silver shaker. Shake ingredients together. Pour back into glass and enjoy!

Rachael Ray’s Summer Cocktail Recipe: Kale Kocktail

Ingredients
2 oz kale juice
1/2 lime, juiced
1 1/2 oz vodka
1/2 oz ginger simple syrup
Ice
Cayenne pepper (optional)
Raw sugar (optional)
Seltzer water (optional)

Rachael Ray’s Summer Cocktail Recipe: Ginger Simple Syrup

List of ingredients and directions for Rachael Ray’s Ginger Simple Syrup:

Ingredients
1 cup sugar
1 cup water
2- or 3-in peeled fresh ginger

Directions
To make the ginger simple syrup: Heat sugar and water in sauce pan. Bring to a simmer to dissolve the sugar, then turn off heat. Once removed from heat, add the 2- or 3-inch piece of peeled fresh ginger. Let cool and strain.

Put raw sugar and a few dashes of cayenne pepper on a plate. Mix well. Set aside.

Wet rim of glass with water and turn glass upside down on plate with raw sugar and cayenne for cayenne and sugar rim. Turn back over and add desired amount of ice.

In a silver shaker, add kale juice, lime juice, vodka and ginger simple syrup. Shake ingredients together and pour into glass. Add splash of seltzer if desired.
